How to Donate

Would you like to make a donation to 1st Abbotsford Scouts? It’s easy!

Your donation helps us provide fun, safe, and educational programs for youth in our community. Contributions go directly toward camping gear, activity supplies, badges, and making Scouting accessible to all families.

Donations can be made in a few ways:

• using this link to donate your recycling when taking bottles/cans to a Return-It location
• selecting "Scouts Canada - 1st Abbotsford Scout Group" from the list of fundraisers when using FastDrop/Depozip to schedule a pickup of your cans/bottles (150 or more) or dropping them off at the Vye Road depot
• by Interac e-Transfer to [email protected]
  • We have auto deposit, but if your bank requires a question and answer, make them What organization? and scouts.
  • Also, please note what the purpose is in the description/memo area so we know what it's for. Examples: general donation, bottle drive
• online with debit or credit cards using Square
• cheque or cash in-person at any of our official fundraising events

Need a tax receipt? For amounts of $20 and up, you'll need to go to the Scouts Canada website and specify that the donation go specifically to 1st Abbotsford Scouts. Go here and click on the “Designated Gift” button: https://scouts.ca/donate/online-ways-to-donate.html
